Description: The Basa Pilipinas Training Videos, developed with support from USAID, aims to provide Grades 1 and 2 teachers with knowledge on the design and use of Basa Learning Resources. This particular video introduces the use of Leveled Readers in improving literacy instruction. Leveled Readers are books that pupils read. They are used to build vocabulary, develop decoding strategies and word recognition skills, learn the structure of narrative or expository texts, develop fluency, and foster love of reading. Note: You may secure a copy of this from your LRMDS supervisors.
