This story narrates how a couple of long ago who upon the onset of the operation of the conquistadors in the Ilocos Region founded a settlement which is the present-day municipality, Bauko, Mountain Province. In addition, it also tells the origin of the name of the said municipality and gives a varieity of information about Bauko which can lead learners to also better understand its present situation.
